facilitate workshops
At Vikalp Kriya, our workshops explore how participation can become both a way of learning and a way of living. Inspired by the pedagogy of the oppressed, we see facilitation not as teaching but as creating spaces where dialogue, reflection, and action meet. We facilitate processes that nurture critical thinking, collective analysis, and the questioning of dominant power relations. Our work engages with rights, gender, participation, and communication to challenge the pervasive “culture of silence.”
Through Learning Needs Assessments (LNAs), the design of modules and handbooks, participatory workshops, mentoring support, and documentation of learning journeys, we collaborate with organisations and academic institutions to co-create meaningful learning experiences. Our workshops bring together community volunteers, development practitioners, activists, government representatives, theatre and media practitioners, students and educators, children and young people, farmers, and workers, and anyone seeking to reflect, reimagine, and act toward social and ecological justice.
