Learning Together! facilitating participatory workshops is an immersive space for facilitators, trainers, educators, and social change practitioners to engage deeply with the craft of participatory facilitation.

It invites reflection on the nature of learning as an organic, relational process that calls for ongoing engagement with oneself, sensitivity to the immediate environment, and responsiveness to the socio-political and cultural realities in which communities live.

Together, we explore questions such as:
  • How can facilitators create learning spaces that move beyond instruction to nurture critical and creative thinking?
  • In what ways can we choose, adapt, or evolve tools and methods so that groups and communities engage deeply, reflect together, and act with shared purpose?
  • How can facilitation help build processes that foster understanding, collaboration, and justice - within communities and in the wider world

Through the workshop, participants will:
  • Explore the philosophy and ethics of participatory facilitation, rooted in dialogue and action
  • Learn to design enriching learning experiences that are co-owned by groups and communities
  • Practice tools, exercises, and methods that provoke critical and creative engagement
  • Reflect on their own facilitation style and its impact on fostering collective understanding and empowerment

This workshop blends inquiry, hands-on practice, and reflection, providing participants with a safe and supportive space to experiment with facilitation strategies. It emphasises learning with communities rather than for them, fostering skills that are transferable across diverse social, cultural, and ecological contexts.

We welcome facilitators, trainers, educators, and practitioners committed to creating transformative learning experiences that build capacity, strengthen dialogue, and nurture just relationships between people and their environments.

facilitate workshops

We facilitate processes that encourage dialogue, analysis and provoke a rethink on the dominant power relations and explore rights, gender, participation and communication to challenge the "culture of silence".

We carry out learning needs assessments (LNAs), design and develop modules and handbooks, facilitate workshops, provide handholding support and document learning processes.

Our workshops bring together participants from diverse backgrounds.
Our past workshops have been attended by community volunteers, development workers from non-profits, donor agencies & government departments; activists from campaigns & movements; theatre and media practitioners; students and faculty members, children and young people, farmers and workers

We invite you to an exciting, engaging and enriching learning journey!
